Alex Yeandle
I'm a Postdoctoral Prize Research Fellow in Politics at Nuffield College, University of Oxford.

I study the political consequences of technological change. I'm interested in how rising access to mobile phones shapes public opinion, and how states use digital tools to expand their presence in society. I have a regional focus on Sub-Saharan Africa and have conducted fieldwork in Malawi and Ghana.
My recent work is published in, or forthcoming at, the American Journal of Political Science, British Journal of Political Science, Comparative Political Studies, and International Studies Quarterly.

I received my PhD from the London School of Economics, and was a visiting fellow at UNU-WIDER.
